The Association of Washington Cities (AWC) focused on several issues in 2025. These included fiscal sustainability, public safety funding, infrastructure needs, and affordable housing. Please join us as Candice Bock discusses AWC's Legislative priorities and other legislative actions that impact local government.

PRESENTER BIO

Candice Bock was appointed Government Relations Director for AWC in 2018. Candice joined AWC in December 2009 as a lobbyist. She has 15 years of experience working in municipal government. Prior to joining AWC, Candice served as City Manager of Carnation. Candice worked for the City of Lakewood holding a variety of positions including Assistant City Manager and Government Relations Director. She also served as the Administrative Services Director for the City of Lacey. Her work with cities has included working for the cities of Richland, Washington, and Colorado Springs, Colorado, in the field of economic development. Candice holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado.
